DesignFirst OU is founded out of a strong passion for solving the struggle with hardware security and help increase the adoption of Trusted Platform Modules (TPM). Dimi Tomov, the owner of DesignFirst, is from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria (NATO 2004, EU 2007). Dimi's engineering experience dates from before his university degree when he created industrial systems for manufacturing plants. In 2012, Dimi switched focus from industrial systems to the rising Internet of Things (IoT) market. He helped build a new door bell with voice-over-ip capabilities for a french company. Curious that a year later came out the now famous Amazon Ring that had similar capabilities. In 2014, Dimi took on the task of building a security solution based on TPM for Juniper. This was his first exposure to Trusted Computing and at the time information and tools for using the TPM were very hard to find. Dimi envisioned that Trusted Computing will have many applications in the future. Four year later, in January of 2018, DesignFirst was established.

Answers to common questions from customers
Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) are the most popular hardware security modules (HSM), widely adopted in personal computers, workstations, network equipment and servers. Nowadays, there is a trend of integrating TPM 2.0 solutions in embedded systems, such as Medical, Industrial and Internet of Things products. Because of the TPM's high security guarantees and features.
Security solution conforming to the ISO/IEC 11889:2015 standard.
Arm TrustZone technology is used on billions of application processors to protect high-value code and data. Arm TrustZone technology offers an efficient, system-wide approach to security with hardware-enforced isolation built into the CPU. Systems need dedicated software (firmware) to make use of TrustZone.
